I will respond to those that asked about why I hate the Galaxy Nexus as soon as possible.

44 days

As many of us are counting down the days until the next iPad is released all I can think about is something much more dear to my heart than any slice of current technology. In 44 days, possibly less, I will be blessed with my third baby boy. Being a father changes everything about a man, all for the better. At first a feeling of hopelessness overcomes you as you realize your actions directly affect how your child will grow up. Things as small as having patience when a fast food clerk gets your order wrong can make all the difference in how your child learns how to interact with others. At first it may not seem evident but the day will come when all your hard work shows its perseverance. That day will change you forever.

44 days may seem like a lifetime to some. For me the days are passing ever so quickly, leaving me feeling like reality is a dream. My passion for technology, cinematography, and music all remain however they have taken a backseat to what will change me for the fourth time in my life. My wife, two current sons, and soon to be third baby boy are what makes life a place to call my own. Without them my passion wouldn’t exist.

All in only 44 days.

Well said, Sloan. I can’t agree more with your points about priorities, behavior and impact. Parenthood truly is the most challenging and rewarding endeavor of my life, and I feel lucky each day to have the opportunity to be a father.

Best wishes to you, your wife and growing family.
